Man smiling with eyes closed

I am a spare-time travel writer, singer, and songwriter based out of Zurich, Switzerland. Originally from sunny California, I packed my bags after high school and moved to Norway to be an exchange student, a decision that would change the course of my life.

Borne out of a passion for good travel literature and landscape photography, this is my humble little endeavor to capture, remember, and share the beautiful things I’ve come across on my journeys. It’s also where you can find some of my music! Happy perusing, happy listening. —Greg

🇮🇹 Val d’Aosta/Aosta Valley: This was taken from Day 4 on my Tour du Mont Blanc #TMB. The descent from Col de la Seigne—the border between France and Italy—to the floor of the Val Veny is one of the most beautiful stretches of the entire walk, in my opinion. It was also possibly the best introduction ever to Italy’s secluded Valle d’Aosta: jaw-dropping views of the spiny east face of the Mont Blanc massif, glaciers spilling down from the clouds, and landscapes embroidered with colorful wildflowers. If you’re curious about doing the walk yourself, check out my bio!
🔔 Collina d’Oro, or “Golden Hill” in Italian. My friend Leah introduced me to this place. After she graduated and moved to Italy, I continued to come back here on my jogs and whenever I needed some peace and quiet off campus.
Champex: the x is silent.
🕍 A rock pool guards the last warm water from the day near Sinagoga.
Col del Balme: the most scenic border I’ve ever crossed! On one side is the Swiss #Valais, on the other—France. Sure makes you appreciative of those open borders. 🥲
